The machine tool presented is a prototype with 3 axis Laptop Numerical Manage (CNC) to machine a portion drawn on a Laptop Aided Design computer software (CAD). A personal computer converts the design produced by CAD into coded alphanumeric information to handle the movement of the cutter in space along the X, Y and Z axes servomotors along each and every axis are then utilized to accurately position the cutter as the pc controls the cutting and shaping of the material. The applications for this type of system are many folds, ranging from metal components making to engraving on glass and wood.
