3-D printer by Dimension. Only ,900! (which is a lot, of course, but it’s more than ten times cheaper than what was available 15 years ago). They brought this to the Science Museum of Minnesota for Make: Day. Supposedly if you brought .stl CAD files, you could get your own object printed (though I wonder how long it takes).
Looks like the company is based in Eden Prairie.
